Cosmic Patterns by Peter Morris

Cosmic Patterns

Secreted within the landscape of Gloucestershire lies a secret. It is a mystery which outlines the delicate story of mankind’s once deeply treasured relationship with life and its natural forces. Carved into every corner of the Cotswold countryside lies the vestiges of an unknown culture who displayed an extra-ordinary understanding of the working of the heavens.

For thousands of years the theories and ideals of these people have remained dormant but like the rising of a dense mist from the land it is now possible to rediscover this timeless ethos, its goals, functions, form and application. The focus of this new planetary consciousness is closely woven around one very simple occult maxim: ‘As above – so Below’; that all which is in the heavens above us is replicable within the planet at our feet. Man is an intermediary between the two domains and for thousands of years our forefathers unified cosmic or spiritual principles with the landscape.

This book outlines the basic principles involved and how, over many generations, they have been applied to the landscape of south Gloucestershire. It is through these ideas that we can rediscover the intrinsic sacredness of our planet and the importance that it once held in the cosmic chain.
